Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Glory, an eleven-year-old, lives with her parents in a one-room apartment. Her parents, both teachers in private schools, earn a combined monthly income of twenty-five dollars. Glory is a kind-hearted girl who enjoys reading and meeting new people, and she dreams of becoming a doctor in the future. Until a week ago, Glory was in good health. Suddenly, she began experiencing sharp abdominal pains on the right side and around the umbilicus, accompanied by vomiting and diarrhea. Initially, she was treated at home with analgesics and antibiotics, but these medications did not significantly improve her condition. Upon medical evaluation, Glory was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and urgently requires surgery to resolve this critical issue.
Medical history
Glory was admitted on account of Acute Appendicitis which caused severed acute illness. The surgery was carried out as scheduled successfully with no recorded complications. The patient responded well to the surgery and the post operative management. Glory was discharged with a stable state of health upon recovery. She is currently doing much better, no abdominal pains or fever, and he is actively playing with friends and family .
Prognosis
If appendicitis is not treated, it can lead to serious complications, the most severe being a ruptured appendix. When the appendix ruptures, it releases bacteria into the abdomen, potentially leading to a serious infection called peritonitis, which can be life-threatening. An abscess, which is a pocket of infection, may also form.Treatment for appendicitis usually involves surgery to remove the appendix, a procedure known as an appendectomy.
