Mamman is a playful seven-year-old boy from a financially challenged family in Ngomari Karshen Kwalta. He lives with his parents and four siblings. His mother crafts hats while his father works as a vulcanizer, earning less than thirty dollars monthly. Mamman enjoys playing with his toys and running around with other children. He dreams of becoming a successful businessman in the future so he can help the poor. Until about two months ago, Mamman was in good health. However, he then started experiencing flank and lower abdominal pain, painful urination (dysuria), and fever. His symptoms subsided after he took antibiotics and pain relief medication. This evening, Mamman was brought to the UMD Medical Clinic due to his inability to pass urine. Upon examination, the doctor diagnosed him with acute urine retention secondary to a bladder stone. He urgently requires surgery to prevent further complications.

He is feeling better as there is no urine retention.
