When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Trevor was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infections and body rashes. Upper Respiratory Tract Infections primarily affect the upper part of the respiratory system, which includes the nose, throat, and sometimes the sinuses and ears. Common URTIs include: Common cold, leading to symptoms like a runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, coughing, sneezing, and sometimes a low-grade fever. Sinusitis: Inflammation of the sinus cavities, often associated with nasal congestion, facial pain or pressure, and thick nasal discharge. Pharyngitis (sore throat), or otitis media: an ear infection that can cause ear pain, fluid drainage from the ear, and hearing problems.

Background
Trevor is a cheerful boy from a financially struggling family. His mother reports that he has been experiencing a cough along with a stuffy nose and a runny nose. He struggles with breathing at night due to nasal congestion and becomes irritable as a result. Additionally, Trevor has been dealing with a rash for the past week. When he was brought to the hospital he was diagnosed with Upper respiratory tract infections
Medical history
He was diagnosed with an upper respiratory tract infection accompanied by body rashes and managed as an outpatient. He was prescribed antibiotics for five days and hydrocortisone cream for two weeks. He was discharged in stable condition. The child is now cheerful, feeding well, and able to breastfeed comfortably. His mother expressed deep gratitude to both Helpster Heroes and Ahava Medical Centre for supporting her son’s treatment. She said, “I couldn’t afford to take my son to the hospital, and I was so worried - I feared I might lose him.”
Prognosis
If an upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) is not treated, it can weaken the immune system and the body's natural defenses. This can make it easier for other infections, such as bacterial sinusitis or ear infections, to develop as secondary complications. If the URTI is caused by a contagious virus (e.g., the common cold or influenza), untreated individuals can continue to spread the infection to others, potentially leading to outbreaks in close-contact settings like schools or workplaces.
