About infections
The baby has cough with no pneumonia.The child has been given antibiotic,analgesic and trihistamine. There are different classification of pneumonia; severe pneumonia, pneumonia and no pneumonia. Whereby no pneumonia means the child has cough with upper respiratory track infection.

Background
Happy and jovial girl living with the mother in one of the slums in Kisumu. She was brough to the facility with complains of cough and running nose.
Medical history
The patient was seen and treated for a respiratory tract infection on an outpatient basis. A follow-up conducted a few days later confirmed that she had improved and was recovering well.
Prognosis
With proper medication, the prognosis is well but if not treated and becomes persistent and become severe, if can cause conditions like Chronic bronchitis, Asthma, Allergies, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other lung conditions, Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD),Throat disorders, including vocal cord disorders, Postnasal drip, Heart failure and other cardiac conditions.
