Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Travis, a six-year-old, lives with his mother and grandparents. He delights in playing football, indulging in marathon gaming sessions, and cycling. His aspiration is to follow in his grandfather's footsteps and become a farmer when he grows up. Travis was admitted for an undescended right testis at the age of five months, a condition confirmed by ultrasound at four years old. Unfortunately, neither his mother nor his grandparents have the means to gather funds for Travis's necessary surgical treatment, despite medical advice.
Medical history
Travis, a 6-year-old boy, was diagnosed with cryptorchidism and admitted to the hospital for an overnight stay before undergoing an orchiopexy surgery to correct his undescended testicles. His mother expressed immense joy and relief, grateful that her son can now live like other boys in the neighborhood—a concern that had deeply troubled her. Since the surgery, Travis has been cheerful and confident, free from pain or discomfort. After spending two days in the hospital, both Travis and his mother were discharged, with his mother extending heartfelt appreciation to Helpster Charity for their unwavering support in ensuring her son’s successful treatment.
Prognosis
Treatment for undescended testis typically involves surgery, known as orchiopexy. During this procedure, a surgeon relocates the testicle from its abnormal position in the abdomen or groin into the scrotum. This helps promote normal testicular development and function. Treatment is essential to prevent long-term complications, especially if the condition is identified in early childhood.
