She was evaluated, investigated and diagnosed of Complex ovarian cyst. She underwent a successful surgery on 16th May,2024 and discharged home on 20th May,2024. Her life has improved and she feels better.

Complex ovarian cysts can potentially grow larger, causing increased pain, discomfort, and pressure on surrounding organs. There is also a risk of rupture, which can lead to severe pain, internal bleeding, and infection. In some cases, complex cysts may be cancerous, and delayed treatment could allow the cancer to advance to a more advanced stage, reducing the chances of successful treatment. Surgery may involve removal of the cyst (cystectomy) or, in more severe cases, removal of the entire ovary (oophorectomy).
