Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology

A complex ovarian cyst is a type of cyst on the ovary that contains both liquid and solid components, often requiring medical attention for further evaluation and potential treatment due to the increased risk of malignancy. The cyst can grow to cause discomfort or pain. Most ovarian cysts are noncancerous, but a small percentage of complex cysts are cancerous.

Zainab, an young girl, is passionate about cooking, farming, and creative arts. Despite her father's occupation as a commercial taxi driver, who currently doesn't have a car, Zainab relies on her mother, uncle, and siblings as her main support system. She was seemingly well until the past six months, when she began experiencing persistent abdominal swelling, discomfort in the lower abdomen, irregular menstruation, and occasional fever. Despite seeking medical attention previously at another healthcare facility, she faced challenges covering the expenses due to her family's financial limitations. Fortunately, she was referred to the UMD linic by their community leader, who learned about Helpster during a volunteer visit to their community as part of a community outreach initiative last year..

Fortunately, she was referred to the UMD linic by their community leader, who learned about Helpster during a volunteer visit to their community as part of a community outreach initiative last year.. She was evaluated, investigated and diagnosed of Complex ovarian cyst. She underwent a successful surgery on 16th May,2024 and discharged home on 20th May,2024. Her life has improved and she feels better.

Prognosis

Complex ovarian cysts can potentially grow larger, causing increased pain, discomfort, and pressure on surrounding organs. There is also a risk of rupture, which can lead to severe pain, internal bleeding, and infection. In some cases, complex cysts may be cancerous, and delayed treatment could allow the cancer to advance to a more advanced stage, reducing the chances of successful treatment. Surgery may involve removal of the cyst (cystectomy) or, in more severe cases, removal of the entire ovary (oophorectomy).
