Mohammad is an eleven-year-old boy who resides with his parents, brother, and sister in a tin shed house in the slums of Narayanganj. Mohammad's father, Al Amin, forty-two years old, is the sole breadwinner of the family, employed as a building painter. Mohammad's mother, Soniya, thirty-five years old, fulfills the role of a homemaker. One day, Mohammad began experiencing abdominal pain. Despite attempting medications from a nearby hospital, the pain persisted, causing distress to the family. Recently, they became acquainted with Helpster Charity and Polyclinic through another patient who had been admitted to Narayanganj Polyclinic. Mohammad received a diagnosis of Acute Appendicitis, and Dr. Munna forwarded Mohammad's case to Helpster Charity. However, the family lacks the financial means to cover the cost of the necessary surgery. Soniya, Mohammad's mother, implores Helpster Donors for assistance in supporting her child.

Mohammad was diagnosed with acute Appendicitis, an inflammation of the appendix. He experienced severe abdominal pain and vomiting, leading to the need for an emergency appendectomy. The surgery involved removing the inflamed appendix, which turned out to be complicated due to significant adhesions between the abdominal structures. Thankfully, the operation was successful. When the appendix ruptures, it releases bacteria into the abdomen, potentially leading to a serious infection called peritonitis, which can be life-threatening. An abscess, which is a pocket of infection, may also form.Treatment for appendicitis usually involves surgery to remove the appendix, a procedure known as an appendectomy.
