Aishat O., 15

Aishat is the eldest child in her family of four, residing in a modest two-room apartment with her parents. Her father works as a teacher in a private school, while her mother earns a living as a tailor, with the family's monthly income totaling approximately $35. Aishat is a well-behaved girl who enjoys reading and socializing. Her dream is to become a Registered Nurse in the future. Three months ago, Aishat's health took a turn when she began experiencing recurrent abdominal pain in the right iliac fossa. Despite being treated with oral antibiotics and pain relievers, her condition did not improve and the pain worsened. She became unable to stand erect, and experienced vomiting, fever, and headaches. Upon arrival at hospital, Aishat underwent examination revealing severe tenderness in the right iliac fossa, along with rebound tenderness. Further investigations confirmed a diagnosis of Acute Appendicitis, necessitating urgent treatment.

Aishat was admitted on account of Acute Appendicitis which caused severed acute illness. The surgery was carried out as scheduled successfully with no recorded complications. The patient responded well to the surgery and the post operative management. Aishat was discharged with a stable state of health upon recovery. She is currently doing much better, no abdominal pains or fever, and he is actively playing with friends and family .
