Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

A Right Distal Radioulnar Fracture occurs when there is a tear or crack in the distal part of the radius and/or ulna, resulting in an injury to the bones of the forearm. This condition manifests with swelling, pain, limited mobility, and the possibility of deformity in the hand.

Background
Lawan is a seventeen-year-old schoolboy in the IDP camp. He lives with his parents and enjoys playing football. His dream is to become a lawyer in the future. He was fine until two days ago when he sustained an injury to his right hand while playing. Upon arrival at our facility, he underwent examination, investigation, and was diagnosed with a Right Distal Radioulnar Fracture. Urgent surgery is required.
Medical history
The child was managed as a case of fracture. He has a speedy recovery, and his response to treatment was impressive. Lawan had an Open Reduction Internal Fixation for the fracture. He received antibiotics and no complications at all He had been successfully discharged home with his parents, and they are delighted. Prognosis
Recovery after a fracture may require rehabilitation and physical therapy to restore full hand function and reduce the risk of complications.
