Omor, a ten-year-old residing in the slums with his parents and sister, faces a challenging ordeal. His father, Mohammad, shoulders the family's financial burden, toiling at a garment factory. Оmor's mother, Mukti, dedicates herself to managing their household. Omor adores his five-year-old sister, Moriom, dearly. However, Omor's health has taken a downturn, as he grapples with Acute Gastroenteritis. Despite seeking treatment from a government hospital, the prescribed medications proved ineffective. With no available beds or free medicines for admission, his father stumbled upon a poster detailing Helpster Charity and Narayanganj Polyclinic's services at his workplace. Acting swiftly, he reached out to Dr. Munna and rushed Omor to Narayanganj Polyclinic. Now, the family appeals to Helpster Donors for assistance in covering Omor's treatment expenses.

Omor was suffering from acute Gastroenteritis, an inflammation of the stomach and intestines that results in diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, and fever. He developed dehydration as well. In such cases, fluid infusion is critical for recovery. Omor received conservative treatment with cholera saline, paracetamol, ceftriaxone, oral zinc, and probiotics.
