Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

With hospital care and close monitoring, Hadiza slowly recovered. Her parents thanked the Helpster charity for funding her treatment, saying their help brought hope during a difficult time.

Prognosis

Malaria if not treated urgently can cause severe anemia, organ failure (such as kidney or liver failure), cerebral malaria (a complication affecting the brain), and in severe cases, death. Enteric fever can lead to intestinal perforation, where the bacteria invade the intestinal wall, leading to leakage of intestinal contents into the abdominal cavity. Untreated gastroenteritis can lead to severe dehydration, especially in vulnerable populations such as young children
