Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology

Amniotic fluid leakage occurs when the protective fluid that surrounds the baby in the womb begins to leak out before labor begins. The leakage can happen due to a variety of reasons, including a premature rupture of membranes which can occur spontaneously, or due to an infection, trauma, or other underlying medical conditions.

Background

Ajeda lives with her husband and daughter in a financially struggling family. She is nine months pregnant and requires a Cesarean section. Ajeda is a housewife, most of the time she does her household chores. Ajeda loves singing. Due to financial constraints, Ajeda was unable to pursue her studies, but she would like her children to be educated.

Medical history

Ajeda had her first child via Cesarean Section, and this was her second cesarean operation. Being very poor, she struggled to receive adequate nutrition during her pregnancy, resulting in Anemia. Physically weak, Ajeda was unable to have a normal delivery, so her second cesarean section was performed. The surgeon took about 60 minutes to complete the operation using a spinal block. A catheter was placed to drain urine, and the skin of her abdomen was meticulously cleaned with antiseptic. After the surgery on her uterus, the baby was safely delivered, and the incision was stitched up. The operation went smoothly without any complications, and both Ajeda and her baby are doing well. They will stay in the hospital for a few days to recover properly. Now, Ajeda and her family are filled with happiness! They are deeply grateful to Rudo Hospital and Helpster Charity!

Prognosis

A Caesarean section is often necessary in cases of amniotic fluid leakage to protect the health and safety of both the mother and the baby, addressing risks such as infection, fetal distress, and other potential complications. Prolonged exposure can lead to conditions such as chorioamnionitis, an infection of the amniotic fluid, which can be dangerous.
