Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology
Uterine fibroids are benign smooth muscle tumors of the uterus that can grow significantly in size, causing compression effects on surrounding organs. Large fibroids may lead to chronic pelvic pain, pressure symptoms, and, most critically, severe menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding), which can result in life-threatening anemia, hypovolemia, and hemodynamic instability. In extreme cases, prolonged blood loss may necessitate urgent blood transfusion, surgical intervention, or even hysterectomy to prevent fatal complications.

Medical history
Adebari Taiwo was diagnosed with Heavy Uterine Fibroids (Myoma) and admitted upon Helpster's approval for the surgery. The surgery was successfully done with no complications. She now recovered and could resume her activities with joy. Herself and her family were happy and grateful.
Prognosis
The prognosis of uterine fibroids with severe bleeding depends on the severity of anemia, response to medical management, and the necessity for surgical treatment. If untreated, ongoing severe bleeding can lead to cardiovascular collapse, multi-organ dysfunction, and increased surgical risks. Timely intervention, including medical therapy (such as hormonal treatment or tranexamic acid), minimally invasive procedures (such as uterine artery embolization), or definitive surgical options (such as myomectomy or hysterectomy), is crucial to preventing morbidity and mortality.
