Shadrack lives with his parents and siblings. His parents do not have stable jobs and work as casual laborers on people's farms. Shadrack's parents often panic when one of the children is sick because there is barely any money to take the child to the hospital. Shadrack is the pride of his parents, as his teachers always praise him for his hard work and resilience. He dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up. Shadrack had been experiencing nosebleeds for three days before being brought to the hospital. His mother initially assumed it would stop on its own, but after the nosebleeding persisted for three consecutive days, she became worried. Shadrack had also started feeling dizzy, especially when standing up from a lying or sitting position. He reported that the nosebleeds were intermittent, not continuous, over the past three days. By the time he was brought to the hospital, he also had a throbbing headache.

Three days prior to coming to the hospital, Jerry's mother noticed that he was not been active. Shadrack came to the facility with complains; dizziness, headache and nose bleeding. He also had loss of appetite and had not been feeding, thus looking quite famished, he was treated at the hospital and is back to her playful nature again, and can now continue reading and writing . His mother jokingly said that he thinks her boy will be a teacher in future. She is very happy and was grateful to Helpster for the assistance.
