Ann lives with other homeless children on the streets. She enjoys watching football, other ball games, and various sports. She likes any meal made from potatoes and also loves cakes. If given the opportunity, Ann would like to become a tailor. The street children have a benefactor who cares for them whenever she has a chance. It was this guardian who brought Ann to the hospital. Ann had been experiencing severe, crampy abdominal pain that occurred intermittently over the past two weeks. She did not know of any factors that aggravated or relieved the pain, which she described as burning in nature. The guardian, having heard about Helpster Charity from a Helpster volunteer, decided to bring Ann to this facility.

Ann Muthoni was brought into the hospital by her guardian complaining of severe abdominal pains which is on and off for the last two weeks, according to Ann she visited government hospital last week and was not attended due ongoing Dr's strike country wide. When she heard of Helpster Charity from the Helpster volunteer she came to Good Hope Hospital to beg Helpster Charity to help her raise funds to pay for her medical treatment. After treatment in the outpatient Ann was given oral drugs to continue at home and instructions on the return for check up which she came two weeks later with much improvement since she was able to return to her normal daily activities without any pain or discomfort.

Untreated gastritis can lead to erosion of the mucosal lining, increasing the risk of developing ulcers and even gastric bleeding, which poses a serious health risk.
