Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Salong, age 15, first came to Children's Surgical Centre in April from Kampot province from three hours away, complaining of a popliteal tumour on the back of his right knee. He has one younger brother at home. They live with his parents - his father is a construction worker and his mother is a factory worker. He studies in grade 6, and his favorite subject is math. In the future, he would like to be an engineer. At home, he likes to play football with his friends. About 8 months ago they noticed a mass on the right leg, and it has been growing quickly. After visiting a Khmer traditional healer for several months, his family said he needed to see a doctor. Admission date - 24. April 2023.
Medical history
A rotation flap is a semicircular flap of skin and subcutaneous tissue that rotates about a pivot point into a defect. See report photo for Op record. An ultrasound showed a tumour at the right popliteal fossa. After visiting a Khmer traditional healer for several months, his family said he needed to see a doctor. He had a biopsy. This revealed a desmoid fossa (see histology) of the knee, so he had an excision of the tumour. Desmoid tumors are a type of soft-tissue tumor that come from fibrous tissue. They are related to connective tissue cancers called sarcomas, but desmoid tumors are not cancer because they do not spread to other parts of the body. The surgical site has not healed, it was difficult removal, and need to sacrifice 2 out of 3 axis of the leg: tibial anterior and fibular vessels in the tumor just one axis at the end: flap branched in termino lateral on the tibial posterior vessels (vein and artery). Flap found ischemic in the morning, thrombose, no bleeding, and no pulse so he needs a flap rotation of his knee.
Prognosis
The patient was presented to CSC with a mass on the posterior of his right popliteal fossa. He had a biopsy. This revealed a desmoid fossa of the knee, so he needs an excision of the tumour. If not treated, the tumor may grow into nearby organs, and continue causing discomfort, difficulty in walking, and pain.
