COMPLAINS OF MODERATE HEADACHE WITH VOMITING AND ABDOMINAL PAIN Bacteremia is the presence of bacteria in your blood. If you have symptoms, they're usually mild. Bacteria can enter your blood in different ways, including wounds, medical procedures and even brushing or flossing your teeth too hard. Malaria is a life-threatening disease spread to humans by some types of mosquitoes. It is mostly found in tropical countries. It is preventable and curable. The infection is caused by a parasite and does not spread from person to person. Symptoms can be mild or life-threatening.

Background
Fidel is a happy child. He is very obedient. He likes to have fun by playing with his friends at school and at home. He would like to be a doctor when he grows up and assist sick children, especially those who do not have parents. For the past 3 days, he has been having a headache which is associated with rigors and chills. On the day he was brought to the hospital, he was having abdominal pain and was also vomiting after oral intake. He was unable to retain any food and could not retain the analgesics either, that he had been given to ease the pain.
Medical history
Fidel arrived at the hospital complaining of a headache that had lasted for the past three days. He also began vomiting and experiencing abdominal pain. He appeared quite ill when brought in. A malaria test was conducted, which came back negative, but a full hemogram test showed evidence of bacteremia. He was diagnosed with a bacterial infection and discharged with antibiotics and pain relievers. Fidel has been doing well and was brought in for a follow-up checkup, where it was confirmed that he is recovering.
Prognosis
IF PATIENT TAKES PRESCRIPTION AS PRESCRIBED THE CONDITION WILL IMPROVE. IF NOT TREATED THE CHILD MAY DEVELOPE COMPLICATIONS AND THE CONDITION MAY WORSEN.
