Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

God's Favour Medical Clinic

Moi'sbridge

Background

Regan lives with his parents in the slums of town, he likes playing with car toys and watching cartoons. Regan loves drinking fresh milk and he also likes yogurt. Regan was brought to the hospital by his parents; they reported that Regan had a high fever, abdominal pain, sore throat, headache and loose stool. Regan had also been complaining that there is pain in his throat for the past 2 days as he swallowed food. He had not been taken to the hospital since they did not have the money to do so. Regan's father heard about Helpster Charity from a pastor and they immediately brought Reagan to God's Favour hospital for financial help

Medical history

Regan was diagnosed with malaria and tonsillitis and received treatment with antibiotics, antihistamines, and antimalarial medication. He spent two hours in the hospital, and once he started feeling better, he was discharged with oral medication to continue his recovery at home. Regan's parents were overjoyed, and a follow-up call from a volunteer later confirmed that he was recovering well. His guardian expressed immense gratitude to Helpster Charity for their support in saving their son's life.

Prognosis

Malaria is preventable and curable if diagnosed and treated early, It's treated with ant malarial drugs. If not treated immediately Regan's life would be at risk since Malaria infections can spread into to the blood causing brain damage. Tonsillitis should be treated urgently with antibiotics to prevent further spread into the blood causing sepsis.
