Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
4yr old Ann lives with her parents and siblings in the slums of town. She likes singing, playing hide and seek and watching cartoons. Ann loves eating fruits and drinking juice. She wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Ann was brought to the hospital with complaints of an open cut wound which was bleeding profusely. Ann was cut by a blunt object when she was playing with other children just near the house. Ann's mother panicked a lot as to what she was going to do because she was sure she had to take her daughter to the hospital, the cut wound was not one to be managed at home; and yet she had no money, but someone told her about Helpster Charity treating people at God's Favour Hospital and she came running with the child to God's Favour Hospital.
Medical history
Ann was brought to the hospital with complaints of an open cut wound which was bleeding profusely. Ann was cut by a blunt object when she was playing with other children just near the house. The cut wound was cleaned and sutured under anaesthesia. Ann was brought back to the hospital after 10 days for removal of stitches and it was confirmed that the wound had healed well
Prognosis
Open cut wound should be urgently closed by stitching procedure to prevent further bleeding followed by cleaning and dressing up the wound using aseptic technique to prevent bacterial infections into the wound. If left untreated Ann would be at risk of losing a lot of blood and obtaining infections into the wound due to contact exposure to outer environment, Therefore open cut wound should be urgently treated.
