Medical history
Ann was admitted to the hospital with complaints of chest pain, difficulty in breathing, and fever. She was diagnosed with pulmonary pneumonia and treated with intravenous medication, alongside oral drugs prescribed for home use. She has since recovered well, and a follow-up phone call confirmed that she remains in good health.
Prognosis
Pneumonia is a life threatening condition that should be treated with antibiotics immediately, when treated urgently Ann's life would be changed since pneumonia is treatable and rheumatic fever is a deadly disease which results from the upper respiratory tract infections and should be urgently treated with antibiotics and antipyretics, urgent intervention is necessary to restore Ann's heart from being damaged by bacteria since it's treatable.
