Emmanuel lives with his parents and siblings. His parents do not have a stable income and struggle to provide for their children. Emmanuel likes playing football, and enjoys assisting his neighbors in repairing fences made of wooden strips. He loves eating roasted meat and drinking milk. Emmanuel wants to be a farmer in future. Emmanuel was brought into the hospital by her mother with complaints of difficulty in breathing, convulsions , fevers, joint pains and headache. According to his mother, the symptoms begun one day ago with tonic -clonic convulsions and high fevers. The symptoms were initially mild before it suddenly got worse. Emmanuel's mother had to run from one friend to the other, looking for money since she had no cash left with her. It was then that she heard of Helpster Charity from their pastor and she came to God's favour hospital.

Emmanuel was diagnosed with pneumonia and sepsis and received treatment with antibiotics, antihistamines, analgesics, and a cough expectorant. He spent two hours in the hospital before being discharged with oral medication to continue his recovery at home. Three days later, he returned for a check-up and was found to be doing well—happy and playful once again. His parents were overjoyed and deeply grateful to Helpster Charity for responding to their request and helping save their son's life.

Malaria is treatable with antimalarial drugs, if not treated immediately Emmanuel will be at risk of brain damage by malaria infections and sepsis is also treated with antibiotics and antipyretics to prevent tissues damage by bacteria infections
