Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Blessing lives with her parents. She likes drawing pictures and playing with her pets. Her favorite meal is yoghurt and chapati. Blessing would like to be a teacher when she grows up. For 3 days, Blessing has been vomiting and also had hotness of the body, abdominal pains and diarrhoea. Her mother brought her to the hospital when symptoms were not subsiding. She had been on pain medication for the three days but her condition seemed to get worse by the day. She was glad that Helpster Charity was able to assist in paying for the medical treatment of Blessing.
Medical history
Blessing lives with her parents. She likes drawing pictures and playing with her pets. Her favorite meal is yoghurt and chapati. Blessing would like to be a teacher when she grows up. For 3 days, Blessing has been vomiting and also had hotness of the body, abdominal pains and diarrhoea. Her mother brought her to the hospital when symptoms were not subsiding. She had been on pain medication for the three days but her condition seemed to get worse by the day. She was glad that Helpster Charity was able to assist in paying for the medical treatment of Blessing. Apon arrival in the hospital, Blessing was treated in outpatient department, observed for four hours and later discharged to continue with Oral drugs at home. Two weeks later she was brought into the hospital for check up and was confirmed well and she can continue with her normal school activities without any pain or discomfort. Her guardian was very happy and thankful to Helpster Charity for saving their daughters life.
Prognosis
Gastroentheritis and colitis both the condition can be treated urgently with antibiotics and rehydration solution, if not corrected early, Blessing would be at risk of developing dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
