Annur Umar is a four-year-old boy from a low-income family. He is cheerful and likes playing with friends. He aspires to become an artist when he grows up. He was well until two months ago when he developed Oliguria, pain urinating (dysuria), and lower back pain. The pain subsided after he took some pain medications. Early this morning, he started feeling severe pain around his lower abdomen and back and was rushed to our health facility for treatment. He was examined, investigated, and diagnosed with Bladder Stone on presentation.

Annur is a 4 year old from family ,his father was a commercial taxi driver but lost his car to ghastly motor accident around 2021 barely 3 years ago and as a result of that,he only goes out for a casual labor to feed his family.His child was apparently well until 2months ago he developed oliguria,dysuria and lower abdominal pain.He took the child to another health care facility for treatment but symptoms persist. Upon hearing about helpster heroes through one of the beneficiaries of helpster charity,his child we quickly evaluated for bladder stone via radiological examination and was booked for elective surgery on 7/5/25.Had a successful Cystolithotomy and was discharged on 11/5/ 2025.Patient is now stable and feeling well.

Treatment of larger bladder stones may require procedures such as lithotripsy (breaking the stones into smaller pieces using sound waves) or surgical removal. Additionally, measures to prevent the recurrence of bladder stones may include dietary changes, increased fluid intake, and addressing underlying conditions that contribute to stone formation.
