Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Teresia lives in slum houses with her single mother. She is passionate about helping the sick in her school and enjoys playing as well as watching football. She likes eating chapati and would like to learn how to cook the chapati well so that she can be having it more often. She likes to take chapati and yoghurt. Teresia would like to be a nurse when she grows up. Teresia was brought to the hospital accompanied by her mother. She had developed nose bleeding of sudden onset, they were not aware of anything that may have provoked the nose to bleed. She had also been complaining of a headache, lower abdominal pain and pain on urination. The lower abdominal pain had lasted for three days and the mother, who is a casual labourer, did not have any money to bring her to the hospital. Teresia's mother walks around from house to house in hope of getting some cleaning work or dirty clothes to wash after which she is given a small wage; money that would not have been enough to use for medical treatment of her daughter. She was elated when she got to hear about Helpster Charity.
Medical history
Teresia was brought to the hospital by her mother after she suddenly developed a nosebleed, with no known cause or injury that could have triggered it. In addition to the nosebleed, she had been experiencing headaches, lower abdominal pain, and pain during urination. The abdominal pain had persisted for three days, but due to financial constraints—her mother being a casual laborer—they were unable to seek care earlier. Upon arrival, Teresia was given first aid to stop the nosebleed, and medication was administered to help prevent further episodes. She was also diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and received appropriate treatment. A follow-up phone call one week later confirmed that Teresia was recovering well and feeling much better.
Prognosis
Urinary tract infections is treatable with antibiotics, if not treated immediately Teresia would be at risk of developing sepsis and kidney problems resulting to kidney failure.
