Background

Asat is a 2-year-old boy living with his parent at One Million Road Damaturu; he has normal developmental milestones presently; he is working and running. He was well, until about one month before the presentation when he was noticed to have right inguinal region swelling extending to the right scrotum and abdominal pain. Occasionally, there is vomiting, no cough, and no constipation. The swelling was initially reduced and later became non-reduced, and a diagnosis of Right inguinal-scrotal hernia was made upon investigations and examinations in our facility. Currently, the swelling is present with pain.

Medical history

Asat is a two-year old boy who was diagnosed with Inguino-scrotal hernia and admitted for surgery. Surgery was done successfully with no complications. When he recovered, he was discharged home on June 3rd and left the hospital with his parent who were grateful to Helpster for the free medical treatment.

Prognosis

The Surgery has a good outcome and this will have an excellent impact on the patient if treated promptly But if it is not treated on time it may lead to so many complications and even to the life of the patient
