When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Sepsis in a known Epileptic patient Sepsis is severe inflammatory response that is seen when an infection affects more than 1 system or organ,in children it can present with fever low blood pressure and elevated pulse. Poorly treated malaria this is when malaria fever is not treated according to the national guideline,that is either under dosing or misuse of the appropriate drugs,patient that is tested positive for malaria will still present with the sign and symptoms of the disease,but however this child has a background seizure disorder therefore if urgent treatment is not instituted it may compound the disease

Background
Abdullahi Abdul Kadir is a 10-year-old boy in primary 5 pupil with ambition to become a Nurse in their community he like playing football together with his counterparts he has a good character. This patient was diagnosed with seizure disorder when he was 5 years, he was on anti-convulsant he started having fever which was high grade intermittent that relief by taking paracetamol, there was vomiting and diarrhea associated with skin rashes, patient was given several medications at home but no improvement. Currently, he is ill looking febrile pale dehydrated with multiple papular rash involving the entire trunk.
Medical history
Abdullahi was admitted in our facility and managed as a case of Sepsis with febrile convulsion on Background epilepsy. He had his complete dosages of IV medications and other supportive care. He responded very well to the treatment as evidenced by resolving of the presenting symptoms. He was later discharged home to complete his recovery. Prognosis
This patient is critically ill, he needs an urgent admission and treatment. The prognosis is good because they presented at early stage of the disease but if it is not addressed on time it may lead to permanent brain damage and subsequently mortality
