Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Most cases of severe malaria are attributable to P. falciparum (90 percent), but Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium knowlesi can also cause severe disease Upper respiratory tract infections can be defined as self-limited irritation and swelling of the upper airways with associated cough with no proof of pneumonia, lacking a separate condition to account for the patient symptoms, or with no history of COPD/emphysema/chronic bronchitis

Background
Reagan is a 12 year old boy who resides with his father. Reagan finds joy in playing football together with his friends. They all have nick-names, according to how well they play football; names of professional football players. He aspires to become an electrical engineer when he grows up. Reagan begun complaining of headache and general body weakness a few days ago, and this was followed by a persistent cough and vomiting after oral intake. By the time his father was bringing him to the hospital, he was looking a little dehydrated, due to the fact that he also wasn't feeding well.
Medical history
Reagan had had persistent vomiting for a few days prior to admission and was in a severely dehydrated state when he was brought to the hospital. He was immediately put on intravenous medication to uplift his hydration status before anything else was done. After stabilizing him history was taken from the mother to get the course of the disease after which the child was sent for laboratory tests. The laboratory tests confirmed malaria and pneumonia and he was put on treatment for the same. He responded well to treatment and was discharged on the 3rd day after admission
Prognosis
Severe complications of Upper respiratory track infections can include respiratory failure when there's too much carbon dioxide in your blood. The infection could also spread to other parts of your body, such as your brain or heart. The major complications of severe malaria include cerebral malaria, pulmonary edema, acute renal failure, severe anemia, and/or bleeding. Acidosis and hypoglycemia are the most common metabolic complications. Any of these complications can develop rapidly and progress to death within hours or days
