Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
This patient is a young girl with a primary education and Islamic education. She is a housewife with a good character, she has the ambition to become a class teacher in their community, however her husband is a poor farmer with many children, it is difficult to take care of them all. She was well until about 7 days prior to presentation when she started having headache which was throbbing in nature associated with blurring of vision and epigastric pain. Though the pregnancy was booked at a PHCC Chirokusko and she was regular on follow up, she first visited the PHCC 3 days prior to presentation to our Hospital where she was evaluated for severe pre-eclampsia and injection of MgSO4 was given and she was letter referred to our facility, while in the hospital the team on call reviewed her and for possible emergency caesarean section. Presently her condition is not good she need an urgent intervention.
Medical history
Furera was managed as a case of severe pre eclampsia with fetal distress. She had her blood pressure brought under control and had Cesarean Section done where the baby was delivered successfully. Her post operative care was satisfactory. She was later discharged together with her baby when they were certified stable and fit. Husband and the patient expressed their appreciation to helpster for coming to their aid.
Prognosis
This treatment is needed to spare the life of both the mother and the fetus, she is going to be admitted in the ward, investigations to be done and emergency CS should also be done The prognosis of the management of severe preeclampsia is very good if urgent intervention is done but if the patient is left untreated we may loose both the patient and the fetus.
