Placenta abruption is a serious pregnancy complication where the placenta partially or completely separates from the uterus before the baby is born. This can cause bleeding, which can be fatal for both the mother and the baby. On examination: ABD-gravidly enlarged, woody hard, tender with SFH of 34cm and no fetal heart rate. VE-cervical os is 6cm dilated, central, membrane intact. Obst USS-IUFD@32weeks

Background
She is an honest, responsible, and caring mother who engage in artwork. Her dream is to be a design artist. A G5P4+0A4 who was apparently well until 8 hours before presentation when she started having PV bleeding, bright red, no blood clots. There is an associated history of lower abdominal pain said to be increasing in frequency and intensity. She is rushed to the gynae emergency for proper care.
Medical history
Fatima was admitted on account of bleeding per vagina, dizziness, and very pale while pregnant, she was diagnosed with Major Placenta Previa and had an emergency Caesarean Section (CS) done, no complication and she had speedy recovery.
Prognosis
The patient need emergency intervention for urgent grouping and cross-matching of blood, and augmentation of labour. Unattended PV bleeding is a life-threatening condition.
