Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Tonsillitis is the inflammation of the two oval shaped pads at the back of the throat. A hernia is a gap in the muscular wall that allows the contents inside the abdomen to protrude out wards.

Background
Janet likes singing and dancing. She is a member of the school choir and looks forward to the music festivals when schools compete to see which school has the best blended voices. She loves eating roasted meat. Janet would like to be a teacher when she grows up. She was brought to the hospital with complains of pain on swallowing and swelling on the inguinal region. The pain on swallowing is worse with solid foods and she has also been having a running nose with flu like symptoms for the past 2 days she reports that the swelling on the inguinal region has been evident since more than a year ago and is evident when she coughs
Medical history
Janet was diagnosed with both tonsillitis and a hernia. She first received treatment for the tonsillitis, after which she underwent a successful herniorrhaphy surgery. A follow-up phone call later confirmed that she is doing well and has recovered.
Prognosis
Hernia and tonsillitis prognosis are good. Hernia is treated by herniorrhaphy surgery procedure while tonsillitis is treatable with antibiotics to prevent further spread of bacteria into the blood causing sepsis and meningitis.
