A case of UTI in pregnancy with malaria.This is an infection of the urinary system that is caused by a disease causing organism, eg bacteria fugi or virus,the disease may be localised to the kidneys, urethers, bladder or the urethra.it is common in pregnancy because of the physiological changes in pregnacy that may lead to low immunity.there for this patient presented with dysurea fever and urethral discharge

Background
Jummai Luka is an Akara seller who resides in a community whered social amenities. She is a housewife who has there is no goo the dream to take her children to school so that they will be beneficial to the family and the society at large. Apparently well, until 2/7 ago when she stated having fever, genialized body weakness, and diagnosis of Malaria and Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) in pregnancy was made. She requires urgent medical treatment to avoid complications.
Medical history
Jummai was admitted and managed in our facility as a case of UTI in pregnancy. She had her full dosages of antibiotics and other medications. She responded well to the treatment instituted as her presenting symptoms subsided. She was later discharged home on oral medications to continue with her antenatal visits. She expressed her gratefulness to helpster for helping her.
Prognosis
The disease has a good prognosis if treated urgently with antibiotics,but it has some complications which include urosepsis,and may cause miscarriage if not treated.therefore this patient has to be admitted in the obstetric ward,she has to be thoroughly examined and investigations should be done,so that the causative agent is identified and treated accordingly
