Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Arhyel Musa is a 13 year old resilient boy living with his mom and siblings in a 2 bedroom apartment. Orphaned at tender age, Musa has taken the role of being a good son and a caregiver to his younger siblings. Despite the challenges they faced, they found solace in their tight-knit family bond. Their apartment, though small, was filled with love and laughter. It began with a persistent cough, leaving him weak and fatigued. Concerned with his state of health, his mom bought him drugs at the chemist close to their house. Arhyel Musa was showing symptoms of helminthiasis, a parasitic infection caused by worms that invade the body, often through contaminated food or water. He also lost appetite and was unable to eat food satisfactory. Diagnosis of Helminthiasis and Malaria.

Medical history

Arhyel Musa received treatment at Nakowa Hospital after being diagnosed with helminthiasis and malaria. He was admitted with symptoms of weakness and abdominal discomfort, but responded well to medication and care. Prognosis

If left untreated, helminthiasis can lead to malnutrition, anemia, and impaired physical and cognitive development, while untreated malaria can progress to severe complications such as organ failure and death. Early treatment is essential to prevent these conditions from worsening and causing serious harm.
