Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Habiba Abdullahi, an 18year old with an indomitable spirit, lives in a modest two-room apartment with her five younger siblings. She helps her mom sell grains at the market. Habiba Abdullahi was brought to Nakowa Specialist Hospital with the complain of fever, headache, painful urination with abnormal vaginal discharge x 1/52 duration. On examination and laboratory investigation of blood and urine sample collected revealed 1. Malaria + Enteric fever 2. P.I.D. Enteric fever: Also known as typhoid fever, this bacterial infection from contaminated food or water causes high fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation, and general weakness.
Medical history
Habiba was diagnosed with malaria, enteric fever, and a persistent P.I.D. condition that made her recovery challenging. Despite the hurdles, with expert medical care and the generous support from Helpster charity covering her treatment, Habiba steadily regained her health. Her family is deeply thankful for the hope and healing their daughter received.
Prognosis
Habiba Abdullahi’s health can deteriorates rapidly without timely treatment for her combined illnesses. Enteric fever exacerbates her condition with persistent fever and dehydration. Untreated PID causes excruciating pelvic pain and increases the risk of infertility. Without medical intervention, Habiba’s organs start failing.
