Gabriel is a 3-year-old boy who enjoys watching football, listening to music, and cartoons. He is an orphan currently living in a children's home which relies entirely on the support of well-wishers for its upkeep. Gabriel dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up. He was abandoned at a marketplace when he was only a few months old and was rescued by a good Samaritan who reported the case to the police. Following this, Gabriel was placed in the care of the children’s home. Despite efforts to locate his parents or relatives, no connections have been found. Recently, Gabriel began experiencing frequent episodes of diarrhea and a poor appetite. The matron noticed that he had become too weak to walk and was vomiting after taking anything orally. Due to his worsening condition, he was brought to the hospital for medical evaluation and treatment.

Gabriel Wambua, a joyful 3-year-old boy from a children’s home in Utawala who enjoys cartoons and watching football, was diagnosed with Amoebiasis. He received prompt treatment and has now fully recovered. Gabriel wambua upon arrival to the facility had poor appetite, nausea and loose stool. If not timely treated he can develop severe intestinal disease or extra intestinal complications, such as liver abscesses. The prognosis is good since the diagnosis has been made and he has been put under the right treatment.
