Nine-year-old Jim lives with her parents and sister. Jim starts his day early, and heads to her village primary school. Besides studying, Jim enjoys gardening flowers and playing sports with friends. Fond of sweets and meat, his aspiration is to become a police officer. Unfortunately, for the past three years, Jim has been suffering from a sore throat, often accompanied by fever and cold. Eating is painful because of his chronic tonsillitis, which requires surgery. Jim's parents: "Due to financial constraints, we cannot afford this operation for our daughter, and it worries us deeply. The surgery was performed under general anesthesia, during which the doctors carefully removed the inflamed tonsils to alleviate her discomfort and prevent further complications. Now, Jim is feeling much better, and her hearing has improved significantly. If she takes her medication regularly, she is expected to make a full recovery soon. Tonsillitis should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, the discomfort will remain, and the inflammation may develop and spread onto the other organs. An abscess can form around the tonsils, causing severe pain, difficulty swallowing, and the need for drainage or surgical intervention.
