Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology

Background
She is a married woman who is gentle and reserved and always avoids trouble. She likes listening to traditional music and wants to be the best traditional musician in her community. Maryam is 9 months old pregnant, who was well until 5 days before the Helpster medical outreach in their camp when she started having painless slight vaginal bleeding. During the medical outreach, she had a thorough examination and ultrasound scan which confirmed she had placenta previa and is now referred to this facility for expert management.
Medical history
Maryam was admitted in our facility and managed as a case of Placenta previa at term. She had Cesarean Section done where the baby was delivered successfully. She had a very good postoperative period with adequate surgical wound care and proper medications. Her recovery was well and baby was in good condition. She was later discharged home together with her newborn baby to continue her normal life. The family was very grateful for the help received from helpster.
Prognosis
With prompt medical attention and a Cesarean section delivery, a baby born to a mother with placenta previa can expect a normal birth, development, and healthy life expectancy. However, if left untreated, placenta previa can lead to severe bleeding, preterm birth, stillbirth, or even maternal mortality. Timely medical intervention is crucial to prevent these complications and ensure the best possible outcome for both mother and baby.
