Shaleen would like to be a teacher when she grows up. The fifth born in a family of six children, she is a very jovial girl and likes reading story books and dancing to any tune of music that can be danced to. Her mother works as a hawker, earning around 200 shillings depending on her customers and daily location. Due to financial hardships, the family often manages only one meal a day. Their drinking water comes from a stream, which requires a 30-minute walk to access. Despite these challenges, Shaleen is a cheerful child who loves singing and dancing. She dreams of becoming a teacher in the future. Two days ago, Shaleen experienced breathing difficulties and convulsions. She was taken to a nearby clinic, where she was given medication without proper diagnosis. Her condition worsened, prompting a neighbor, who had previously benefited from Helpster Charity, to refer her for better care. Upon arrival at the medical facility, she had a fever, difficulty in breathing, was convulsing and a runny nose. After examination, she was diagnosed with severe malaria and pneumonia, leading to her admission for further treatment.

Shaleen Nafula was diagonised with severe malaria and pneumonia.She was given some antibiotics and admitted in the hospital ward as the doctor kept track on the improvement of her health.Three days later she showed signs of improvement improvement and the doctor decided to discharge her and advised her mother to offer her the remaining antibiotics while at home. Through phone call follow up he mother said ," I thank God that my daughter is now feeling well. I lacked peace of mind as her condition deteriorated. Thank you Helpster Charity Organization and the Bokoli hospital fraternity for stepping in to restore her health back .May God refill your pockets."

Shaleen was treated on time but if the condition could have been Left untreated, her conditions could have progressed to severe illness and death within 24 hours and also lung damage.
