Janefa 7 year old was diagnosed as Acute Watery Diarrhoea .it was a very emergency condition. Acute Watery Diarrhoea is defined as frequent passing of loose watery stools 3 or more than 3 times in a day lasting less than 2 weeks often caused by infection or other factors. As Janefa was severely dehydrated she needs urgent treatment. If left untreated it causes electrolytes imbalances,organs damage and even death of the patient,especially in vulnerable populations.

Background
Janefa was suffering from acute watery diarrhea vomiting and fevering. She was treated by local pharmacy man at first but condition was not improved. Hospitalization was need due to severe dehydration. Janefa's family cannot afford the cost of in patient treatment. Her father, a garment worker earning only 8,500 taka a month, is the sole breadwinner, while her mother is a housewife who cares for Janefa's grandparents, who are unable to work due to health issues such as diabetes, eyesight loss, and regular high blood pressure. With their limited income barely covering basic expenses like food, electricity, and rent, there is little to no room for medical costs. Despite their efforts to treat her with over-the-counter medications from the pharmacy, Janefa's condition worsened, leading them to seek help from Dr. Munna at Narayanganj Polyclinic. With mounting medical bills and no financial means to support her treatment, Janefa's family is reaching out to Helpster Charity Donors for assistance in saving their beloved daughter’s life.
Medical history
Janefa, a 7-year-old girl, was suffering from acute watery diarrhea, which worsened after receiving inappropriate treatment from a local pharmacy. Despite taking unsuitable antibiotics and other medications, her condition deteriorated, leaving her dehydrated and lethargic. In urgent need of care, she was admitted to the hospital for critical treatment, where she received intravenous cholera saline, oral antibiotics, zinc syrup, probiotics, and ORS. Thanks to the dedicated team at Narayanganj Polyclinic, Janefa has made a full recovery and returned home, bringing joy back to her family. With tears of relief and gratitude, her parents expressed, "We are eternally grateful to Helpster Donors and the Narayanganj Polyclinic Team for their unwavering support; you have given our daughter a second chance at life!"
Prognosis
The patient was suffering from acute watery diarrhea, which was life-threatening due to severe dehydration. Immediate treatment was necessary, and the patient was admitted for emergency care. She received intravenous cholera saline, oral antibiotics, zinc syrup, ORS, and probiotics. If left untreated, this condition could have led to severe dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, organ damage, and even death. Fortunately, Janefa is now doing well and has returned to her normal daily life, bringing smiles to her parents' faces.
