Travor, a three-year-old boy and the only child in his family, lives with his parents in a single-room rental house. His father, the sole breadwinner, works as a casual laborer at a nearby school, earning approximately 700/= per week. Due to financial constraints, the family can only afford one meal a day. Despite these challenges, Travor is a bright and ambitious child who dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up. Three days ago, Travor developed a runny nose and a loss of appetite. Unable to afford medication from a nearby clinic, his father, upon receiving information from a neighbor about Helpster Charity, took him to Bokoli Sub-County Hospital. Travor presented with symptoms including cough, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, general body weakness, and persistent loss of appetite. He was subsequently diagnosed with severe pneumonia and stomatitis and was admitted for further treatment and care.

Trevor, a bright-eyed little boy, fell seriously ill with pneumonia and painful stomatitis, leaving him weak and unable to eat. His father, overwhelmed with worry, rushed him to the hospital where doctors admitted him for urgent treatment. For three days, Trevor fought his illness in the pediatric ward, receiving antibiotics, IV fluids, and wound care for his mouth sores. Thanks to Helpster Charity’s support, he had access to the best medical care - including medications, nursing attention, and nutritional support to help him regain strength. By the third day, Trevor’s fever had broken, his breathing improved, and his mouth sores began healing. When doctors confirmed he was stable enough to go home, his face lit up with joy. His father, filled with gratitude, hugged the medical team and thanked Helpster Charity for saving his son’s life. “Without your help, I don’t know what would have happened,” he said. “You gave my boy a second chance. I pray you can extend this kindness to other struggling families too.” Today, Trevor is back to playing, laughing, and eating without pain.
