Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About lower rti and malaria

Malaria is caused by parasites spread through mosquito bites leading to fever and chills. Lower Respiratory Track Infection affects the lungs and lower airways, including chest pain and shortness of breath.

Background

Yusufis the last child among 5 siblings. He lives with his parent in Bauchi where survival has been quite difficult for the family. Despite all odds, the parents have been up and down ensuring Yusuf and his siblings get their daily needs. Yusuf has been having fever for the past 3 days. He feels weak and have not been eating well. The mother being concerned took him to a clinic where they were prescribed drugs but couldn't afford it did to financial challenge. The parent heard of Helpster and sought for medical help. Yusuf was diagnosed with lower respiratory infections and malaria.

Medical history

Yusuf Yunusa was treated at Albisbir Hospital for Malaria and a Lower Respiratory Tract Infection. With the support of Helpster Charity, he received appropriate medications and supportive care. His symptoms gradually subsided, and he recovered well, leaving the hospital in good health.

Prognosis

Both Malaria and Lower RTI have good prognosis with early medication as in the case of Yusuf. However, if left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and untimely death
