When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Malaria , Respiratory Tract Infection and Bacterial Conjunctivitis Malaria is a serious illness from mosquito bites that causes fever, chills, and body weakness. A respiratory tract infection is a sickness that affects the nose, throat, or lungs, causing cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing. Bacterial conjunctivitis is an eye infection that makes the eyes red, itchy, and full of yellowish pus. When these happen together, the person feels very sick and needs quick medical care to get better.

Background
Abdulrahim is 9 years old boy in a primary school student living with his poor parents in a crowded area of Bauchi State, Nigeria. Despite the challenges of his environment, Abdulrahim is full of dreams and passion. His greatest wish is to become a professional football player, driven by his deep love for the game. Abdulrahim began feeling weak and developed a high fever with chills and sweating. Soon, he started coughing, had a sore throat, and found it hard to breathe comfortably. As the days passed, his eyes became red, itchy, and started discharging yellowish pus, leaving him restless and uncomfortable before he was taken for medical care under Helpster Charity program. On presentation, the child was evaluated and diagnosed with Malaria, Respiratory Tract Infection, and Bacterial Conjuctivitis.
Medical history
Abdulrahim was treated at Albisbir Hospital for Malaria, a Respiratory Tract Infection, and Bacterial Conjunctivitis. With support from Helpster Charity, he received a combination of antimalarial drugs, antibiotics, and eye drops. His condition improved steadily, and he made a full recovery with restored strength and clear vision.
Prognosis
The prognosis of malaria, respiratory tract infection, and bacterial conjunctivitis together depends on how early treatment is given. With prompt medical care using antimalarial drugs, antibiotics, and supportive treatment, the person can fully recover. However, if treatment is delayed, especially in children, these combined illnesses can lead to serious complications like severe weakness, dehydration, breathing problems, or even life-threatening conditions. Early hospital care greatly improves the chances of recovery and prevents long-term harm.
