Background
Sonali lives in a modest tin shed house with her parents and siblings, relying on her father, a farmer, who earns only 7000 taka a month to support the family. For the past year, Sonali has been suffering from chronic nasal blockage and headaches due to abnormal growth of bone and flesh in her nose, along with chronic allergic rhinitis. Despite seeking medical treatment for an extended period, the medications have not provided relief, and her condition continues to affect her daily life. The doctor has advised that surgery is necessary to correct the issue and alleviate her suffering. However, the family's financial struggles make it difficult for them to afford the procedure. Medical history
Sonali Akter 14 years old girl came with the complaints of Nasal Blockage, headache for few days , nasal discharge and sneezing for last 7 days H/O Rhinitis previous 1 year , and admitted in this hospital on 23 April 2025 , then after proper examination and investigation she was diagnosed as chronic Rhinitis with SD with HIT and was planned to treat surgically, after proper preanaesthetic check up her Septoplasty with SMD was done successfully on 23 April 2025 at night. Then she was kept in postoperative care and was shifted to her cabin bed . On 3 rd POD on 26 April 2025 she was discharged with appropriate medication and advice.
Prognosis
