Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Severe malaria occurs when infections are complicated by serious organ failures or abnormalities in the patient's blood or metabolism. Pneumonia is classified as severe when the heart, the kidneys or the circulatory system are at risk of failing, or if the lungs can no longer take in enough oxygen.

Background
Ivvy is a 1 y.o. girl who stays with her mother, one uncle and an aunty. Ivvy's grandmother used to sell groceries but the hard economic life made her use all her capital. Ivvy's mother does not work and her aunty, whom they live with, works as a tea vendor, selling tea to shopkeepers in the evening. They struggle to get food. Ivvy has had a running nose and cough, and this gets worse at night when she is unable to breathe properly.
Medical history
Ivvy is doing well after the treatment, she can now continue with her developmental milestones of walking. Initially she was so weak that she could not walk and this worried her mother. The nasal congestion has cleared too, and she can now breathe well. Ivvy's mother was quite worried because by the time she was bringing Ivvy to hospital, Ivvy was unable to walk. She was very grateful to Helpster Charity for the financial aid in ensuring that her child received the required treatment.
Prognosis
The patient was presented to our facility with a cough, diarrhoea,vomiting and fever. The patient was diagnosed of severe malaria and pneumonia. If not treated, it can lead to lung damage.
