A 10-year-old cheerful boy whose parents are poor. His father is a bricklayer while his mom involves in creative arts and petty trading to make ends meet. He loves playing soccer and have dream to become a lawyer when he grows up. Sadiq is a 10 year old teenager who is cheerful. He is apparently well until 5 months ago when he started feeling right flank pain,Lower back and abdominal pain with difficulty in passing urine.He was taken to a different facility to sought for treatment. The doctors examined him and he was diagnosed with kidney stone but don't have enough money to pay for his medical bills hence he was referred to UMD Medical Clinic by the volunteer. He requires urgent surgery to avert complications such as obstructive uropathy and permanent kidney damage.

The patient presented to UMD Medical Clinic with a 2-month history of bilateral flank pain and dysuria. Previously evaluated at another facility, he was diagnosed with kidney stones but couldn't undergo surgery due to financial constraints. Fortunately, he received treatment at UMD Medical Clinic, where his kidney stones were successfully removed. Following the procedure, the patient's condition significantly improved, and he was subsequently discharged home.

Larger stones might require more extensive treatment like using sound waves to break up the stone (lithotripsy), surgery to remove very large stones, or using a scope passed through the bladder to remove smaller stones. Kidney stones can cause excruciating pain as they move through the urinary tract. If left untreated, the stone may continue to pass or become lodged in a position that causes persistent, severe pain.
