Zainab is a 2-year-old lovely girl, who likes playing with clay soil and water. She was well until 5 days before her presentation to the hospital when she started having a cough, and nocturnal sweating. There is an associated history of weight loss. There was a history of contact with a chronically coughing adult. Currently, coughing out blood, with chest pain, difficulty breathing, and restlessness. On presentation at our facility, the child was evaluated, and investigations are suggestive of Pulmonary Tuberculosis. She was admitted, placed on Oxygen and awaiting other treatment.

Zainab was admitted in our facility and managed as a case of pulmonary tuberculosis. She was placed on anti-TB drugs and had all the other necessary interventions done. She responded well to the treatment instituted as she became stable with presenting symptoms subsiding. She was later discharged home to continue her medications and recovery process. Parents expressed their gratefulness to helpster for helping their child.

With proper treatment, a child with pulmonary tuberculosis can make a full recovery and lead a healthy life. If left untreated, TB can lead to serious complications, including worsening symptoms, spread of infection, and long-term damage. Prompt diagnosis and treatment are crucial to prevent complications and ensure the child's full recovery.
