Background
Yusuf is the 7st child of the family of 11, live with his parents in a 2rooms rented apartment. His father is a carpenter and lost his job due to an industrial accident that makes him to lost 3 fingers of the right hand, his father is permanently disable. His mother sells provision at home. Yusuf likes reading and love playing ball The child was well till 3 years ago, when the swelling in the scrotum was noticed. There was associated pain. He was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with Hydrocele.
Medical history
Yusuf Ajani was diagnosed with Hydrocele and admitted upon Helpster's approval for the surgery. The surgery was successfully done with no complications. Child recovered and could resume his activities with joy. his parents were happy and grateful.
Prognosis
The persistent presence of a hydrocele can cause ongoing discomfort, heaviness, or a feeling of fullness in the scrotum. Although hydroceles are not typically associated with infections, untreated ones may become prone to infections, which can result in pain and complications. Larger hydroceles can interfere with activities like walking or participating in sports due to the added weight and size of the swollen scrotum. Surgical removal of the hydrocele sac is the most effective and permanent treatment for hydrocele. It is typically performed as an outpatient procedure under local or general anesthesia. The surgeon makes a small incision in the scrotum, drains the fluid, and removes the sac.
