Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Also she is planning to further her education into a college for her nursing degree She lives with her parent in a two room rented apartment Her mother is a trader, who sells petty goods in the market(nylon), her monthly income is 20,000 Her father is an Islamic cleric with monthly income of 30000. She was rushed into the facility on 20th May, 2025.she complained of lower abdominal pain. She claimed it started sudden on that day, and it began to get worse, and she started vomiting and we noticed she couldn't stand erected. On presentation at our hospital, she was evaluated and diagnosed with Ovarian Cysts with Torsion. Requires urgent surgical treatment.

Medical history

Boluwatife, a 23-year-old lady, was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst, a fluid-filled sac within the ovary. She was admitted and underwent successful surgical removal of the cyst without any complications. After eight days of admission, she recovered well and was discharged in good condition. She has since resumed her normal activities with relief and gratitude.

Prognosis

The prognosis is very good when attended to early. If the cyst should undergo torsion, this will lead to ischaemic pain which may affect the entire ovary and fallopian tube on the affected side. In such cases, the affected ovary and the tube are removed completely. If seen early, both ovary and the tube can be salvaged
