Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Jayden is the firstborn child of a teenage mother who is still in school. They both live with Jayden's grandmother, a single mother who supports the family by cultivating a small piece of land and doing farm work for neighbors in exchange for a small fee. The family resides in a single-room house, which is partitioned with a curtain to create a small living area. At night, this space serves as a sleeping area for Jayden and his mother. Jayden’s mother recalls that about four days ago, he began crying persistently despite being well-fed and not sleepy. His crying intensified especially during bath time. Eventually, he refused to breastfeed, and his left leg showed very limited movement. He also had a very high fever and had rigors. His mother noticed a small swelling in his groin that continued to increase in size. Concerned, his grandmother decided to accompany them to the hospital to seek medical attention.
Medical history
Jayden was brought to the facility with pain on his leg and an abscess swollen on the leg. He was admitted to the ward to allow for proper management after draining of the abscess and to keep the site clean. He was treated with broad-spectrum antibiotics and painkillers. He was later discharged on orals to keep out infection. His mother late confirmed that he was well and his leg had fully healed
Prognosis
An abscess in the inguinal region can have varying prognoses, depending on the underlying cause and promptness of treatment. Inguinal abscesses can result from various sources, including skin infections, complications of hernias (like strangulated Littre's hernia), or infections spreading from nearby areas. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial to prevent complications. Untreated or delayed treatment can lead to sepsis, organ dysfunction, and even death.
