Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Poli Rani is a pregnant woman at 38 weeks living in a small two-room tin shed house with her husband, who is a person with a disability (PWD) and cannot work well, her son, and her grandmother. She has oligohydramnios, which means there is not enough amniotic fluid around her baby, and she needs an urgent cesarean section to deliver safely. If not treated quickly, there is a risk of complications like fetal distress, stillbirth, or long-term health problems for the baby. Her family is very poor and cannot afford the cost of the surgery on their own. They are desperate for help to ensure both Poli Rani and her baby stay safe and healthy.
Medical history
Poli Rani's C-section was conducted while she and her baby is fine now. She was discharged from hospital dated on 02.06.2025.
Prognosis
The patient needs a cesarean section because oligohydramnios indicates placental insufficiency, which can compromise the baby's well-being and increase the risk of cord compression, meconium aspiration, and fetal hypoxia.
