Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections
Tonsillitis is an inflammation of the tonsils that causes pain when swallowing and can lead to upper respiratory tract infections. If left untreated, it can result in serious complications such as abscess formation, difficulty breathing, or the spread of infection to other parts of the body, which can be life-threatening.

Background
Nadifa is a 9-year-old girl with a kind and cheerful personality, who loves playing with her friends and helping her family. Despite her positive attitude, she suffers from recurrent tonsillitis, and her family cannot afford the surgery she needs due to their limited income. If she does not undergo a tonsillectomy, she risks severe complications such as airway obstruction and life-threatening infections, which could permanently affect her health. Her family is urgently seeking help from Helpster donors so Nadifa can receive the life-saving treatment she deserves and continue to grow happily.
Medical history
Jannatul suffered from chronic tonsillitis that caused her intense throat pain, high fever, and swollen tonsils almost every month. She had trouble swallowing both food and liquids, which led to weight loss and weakness. The constant discomfort made it hard for her to sleep at night, and she frequently missed school due to illness. Her immune system seemed weakened, as she caught colds and infections very easily. After a successful tonsillectomy, Jannatul is now recovering well. She and her parents are deeply grateful to the Helpster Donors and Narayanganj Polyclinic for their generous support, as the family could not afford the surgery on their own.
Prognosis
The patient's recurrent coughs, colds, sore throats, and breathing difficulties are caused by swollen tonsils and adenoids, and without tonsillectomy, they risk developing severe respiratory infections and long-term health problems.
